Damn straight. That ACS valve cover has been my E30 holy grail for 5 years. They pop up on German ebay from time to time, and generally don't end at less than $250. But with my M50 swap looming in the distance, I won't have much use for it anymore. :(

ok...how about the best looking "stock" valve cover?

Edit: I couldn't imagine paying up to or over $250 for a valve cover even if it is the tits

Are you kidding? If I could get my filthy mitts on one of those, I'd keep my M20, and get a clear acrylic hood to show it off. :D

i got this one on my car now. I sand blasted it then painted it with RustOleum met. silver, and the stripes are sprayed with Krylon. I used a DA to sand the ribs and BMW. Sorry for the huge pictures but i uploaded them awhile back and didn't feel like resizeing them and uploading again.

How about looking in the engine bay threads? I am sure you could see lots in there.

The engine bay thread has a small selection.

I'm hoping to find the lurking e30 valve cover painter man with awesomely cool designs...he never shows up though :(

While that valve cover looks fucking awesome, something just occurred to me. You DID use high-temp resistant paint, right?

I was thinking the same thing.

The selection of high temp paint is, errrr...shitty
