how come everyone that paints their m20 valve covers black and polish em, never do the same to the intake manifold? is it hard to remove or something?

how come everyone that paints their m20 valve covers black and polish em, never do the same to the intake manifold? is it hard to remove or something?
the plug wire ENDS are not red because only the EVO III had red ends(cables were still black), and the white valve cover with the motorsport stripes was an EVO II thing.
all of the real EVO II cars I have seen were also yellowed out, but that could be some of the wax crap that gets sprayed on them, and after a while all white color will yellow with that much heat in the area.
I have painted all of my cars M20 intakes black too-- just like the Alpina cars-- but yes, it takes more than a 7th grade education to pull a intake, so most don't do it-- and the replacement gaskets cost more that 5 dollars too.
heres the valve cover on my M3 before I painted the car orange-- I had the fake EVO look rockin.
and here's a pic of my turbo cars intake black--- before it was finished and running.
