    My first E30...

I picked it up a week ago and put a clutch in it. The tech who installed the clutch informed me that there were 4 missing transmission mounting bolts and the pilot bearing was nowhere to be found. Apparently the previous owner and his father installed a new clutch and pressure plate and figured that if it shifted without all these other parts then they were unnecessary weight...

The beast is stripped of all carpet and sound deadening, as well as the whole rear interior. I am thinking about putting in carpet as well as the rear seats as soon as i can find a black interior to match the front sport seats. I'll also be picking up the rear cage in the near future when i can get its captor to pause from his busy life of drawing cock and balls on everything.

I spent about 6 hours saturday washing, claying, 3 step buffing, and sealing it. I hope to have a few of the dents pulled in the near future and this winter i will be doing a bit of body repair in my down time.

Nice! Did you find this car in MN? I've been looking for a clean plastic bumper e30 in MN for months, but no dice :(

Yes sir, its been my friends car for about 4 years or so now and its been sitting in his driveway on and off for about a year and a half. It was originally a cali car which explains its cleanliness. I'm thinking that it has potential to be something great again with a bit of work and i think i'll put most of the interior back in it if not all of it. I really am not out to build a competitive race car so i like a little interior comfort. Also not having a radio blows ass, even though the engine provides a pretty decent soundtrack. I haven't decided yet what to do with it but i have all winter to figure it all out.

My grandfather worked for BMW NA back in the 70's. He used to work for VW NA before and they liked what he did for beatle sales and needed him for the 2002. He brought beverly hills bmw to be what it is today. Used to do the BMW commercials too. My dad is a BMW tech. As you can see i was genetically predisposed to love BMW.

Just to clear things up, i am neither the offspring or illegitimate love child of blunt. His garage makes me wish i had been though. I bought the car from his son.
