On another note Luke I've read with great interest your input on subs in cabrios and I have one in the trunk that I'd love to get the most out of. But thats a project for another day :)

Thanks, actually the harsh criticism keeps this place interesting. I used to frequent brickboard.com when I had my Volvo 240, and that site which has tons of good info is so dry it's like attending a wake.

Thats the feeling I'm getting... Maybe if I remove my trunk lid when I cruise with the top down? But then I'd have to worry about someone swiping my fifth bottlecap with the bald tire when I park it at the Taco Bell, fuck it, bass is over rated anyway.

haha I know what you mean! I've had the back seat out of my cabby for the last week or so and I don't really miss it. Maybe its time to just build a platform back there! I dunno. Welcome aboard! Nice ride!

i like the shadowlining, i should do that sometime. does the rear top seal rubbing on it cause any problems?

Good plan on the rears. And I can promise you, if you rattle-canned it with the rest exposed like that, you do indeed have overspray. You just might not know it.

Nonetheless. Very clean, and plastics seem a little too bland. I say put euros on it!

Good question, I only did that part about 2 weeks ago, so far fine. I use SEM trim black, the stuff is the balls, been using their products for 20+ years with good results. I did the beat up wiper arms and the windshield trim (which was a puke tan) when I first got her, and 10K later looks as good as new. Clean well, scuff and shoot.

Actually after i typed my first response, I thought about it and your probably right on the overspray, though it 's not showing on anything that matters right now. In fact it would probably enhance the look of the beat rear seat at this point :). As for the euro's... I've thought hard about that, was leaning towards plastic because they seem to be easier and cheaper to acquire? Someone gave me a rough quote of 800 for new front and rear euros, but I haven't really looked into it. Would be interested if someone had a line on them as the look is not as common as the plastic.. thanks

What's wrong with classic diving boards? We are a vanishing breed. Some day they will be back in style!!! Nice vert and welcome to r3v.
