you guys are in Canada right? I guess the engines can pu tout more stock than in the US, ours only make like 240.

Did you do the swap on your own or have it done?

I love the touring (we call them wagons in the US, mostly) model. Saw one once with m3 wide body panels added, looked awesome, lots of work to get it tight. I am gonna have the "is" bumpers and soem sideskirts on mine, and have it painted one of three colors:

          Dark Metalic Silver
Jet Black-- off the new e46 paint code
Metalic Black-- also off the new e46

          What do you think

Well the swap is on it´s way

            Project overall look

Remove one S50B30 from junker car(with trans and exhaust still on )
Remove one M20B25 from M-tech II car (with trans and exhaust still on )
Install one S50B30 into M-tech II car (with trans, driveshaft and exhaust bolted)

Also install remote Vacuum booster from E12 M30 UK model (hasn´t arrived yet)

What I have already done before the weekend was install a 3.25LSD for use with this swap

What was done over the weekend was remove S50B30 , remove M20B25, remove vaccum booster, some susp stuff from the junker,, toss out the junker outside,
Plenty pics no worries there, totall time spent on this so far with moving the cars around and such is 15hours, with removing susps and such too,

Now I am going to move the airfilter below the ABS unit and behind the fog lights, should work out I hope, also route oil cooler lines together and no oil cooler used,

Now the engine should get max cool air and brakes will not be powered by the P/S pump,, so this install should be as clean as they get ,, pics when done ,
but here is a link to a 43mb video of us lifting the car of the engine, kinda dark sorry

Engine goes in tonight, I´m going on 1hour to get going on some minor stuff, like getting batteries for the camera so we can shoot the install as well

Any way EURO S50 power with LSD so so sooon
If I get it done before the weekend I am taking it to the local bmw clubs dyno day
expect results after the weekend then with dyno slip scanned in :)

i stick mine in-between the door and the seat. i love that diagonal cloth pattern. my sports seats were recovered with the stock checker pattern only to match the door cards, but i would have loved to get them both diagonal. very nice. :P
I retired my E30 for now...
