I got two different brackets - you can kind of tell in the pics. The vertical brackets are much larger than the horizontal brackets.

No real update, but I did get some shots of the car as it arrived off the truck. I had to drive 20 miles to go get it, and it had been sitting outside for a couple days. It was filthy.

Before the move, I was experimenting with Rustoleum satin black paint and a roller. Came out OK. I'm still up in the air as to what to do with the car - all satin black, two-tone or olive drab are the front runners.

      Here's the car filthy:

In the craziness of moving, the hoodpins got packed and shipped to VA. So, my brother had to fashion a set out of bolts. One of the bolts took off, so I secured the hood with this handy keyring. It was mainly for show, as the rear hood brackets are still installed. That, coupled with the one good pin, ensured that the hood wouldn't move during the drive.

The inteior full of dust, dirt and leaves...and a spare trunk lid

Stripped the door, but maintained the excellent storage capability

And, finally, at its new home.

I scrubbed the exterior the day I got it home, but still need to go through and clean the interior/finish removing the sound deadening. Then I need to paint/rustproof the interior. A friend of mine used this stuff on his RX-7 engine bay, and it's tough and looks good.

Going in for an alignment on Friday, hope to take a nice long drive over the weekend. Need to install the new gauge cluster and go over the suspension first, but that shouldn't take too long. Removable steering wheel = easy gauge cluster R&R
