Plastic bumpers done, US elips installed

Got the elips and valance from the junkyard last week and am just about done with the exterior of the car. Only things left are to find a new foglight, another brake duct, and a spoiler lip. Then I need to spray the side skirts and front bumper (its diamondswartz). And I will need new high beam lenses. So on to the pictures....

There they are. I had some bad lighting today, so kinda crappy pics. Trim is filled and shaved, rear valance will probably be molded to the bumper someday to get rid of that gap. If Id never seen my car before I still dont think it would look like an 89. Im just not sure what it is, but still seems like an early model. 'IS' lip needed!!!

Lookin' good man! Keep the kidney chrome, it flows well with the silver lip of your wheels.

Looks great, man. Nice work. Was it pretty hard to get the rear bumper trimmed down to match the quarter panel?

Looks fucking amazing man, your car really looks good.

Word of advice, DON'T have the valence molded to the bumper. First off, it looks goofy as hell, and second, if you even BUMP anything, it's going to crack, cause a shitload of damage, and cost more to repair than it did to do it.

Looks so awesome. Great job! All you need is an iS front lip to finish it off.

P.S. Love the US ellips too.

Are those Falken Ziex 512's? If so, how do you like'em? I wasnt too impressed with my set, but they're fucking cheap and hard to pass up.

Thanks all, the bumper did take awhile to fit. i wanted to make sure i didnt cut too much off so I ended up not cutting much and sanding/filling it down to match. Other than that to match them it wasnt hard, but of course they dont sit flush and that fabrication takes awhile. Eurospeed, sounds good, I have other ways of taking care of the gap I have, so I will leave them separate.

If you want to meet up sometime next week dan let me know, i think i can swing something. Hopefully it wont rain very much next week. I would really like to find myself an IS lip, or even settle for the i lip just for now.

They are Falken 512s. Honestly the only complaint I have with these tires is that they use a VERY squishy one ply sidewall. You can really tell when you push it hard in the corners. Other than that they are good in the rain, very sticky, and not noisy. My buddy has them on his car in 215/40/17s, and they dont give quite as much as mine do, and he is pleased with them. They have worn well for me too, I have around 4.5k on them, and I have a bit of negative camber.
