Front or rear? Rear has a few small ones, front no. My dad seems to remember there were a few when he owned the car, but I think the others occured with the p/o. Its hard to keep a car dent free with all the jerkies out there. Plus my car has a unique history which involved a sublease and a lot of problems.. Maybe someday I will tell the tail of my e30.

I would like to get smoked elips now too. These may just hold me over until I can get a real set of lights. Hella smoked euros is where its at, im just not ready to lay down the cash on those...

I'd be great if you could come around too dave, I would like to at least get those brake ducts, and are all the foglights you have cracked? I have one good one, I think its the passenger side one. I might just put mine on for now just to see if they work/and to help fill in the holes. I'll let you know if we decide on anything next week.

What type of rear apron is that? I like it.

did you cut from the middle section of the sides of the bumper, like Jordan's right up?

What year is your car? Did you use the method prescribed in the articles section to do the swap?

        Thanks in advance.

Valance is older style Racing Dynamics. My car is a 1987 325es. For anyone who wants to do the bumper conversion, the write-up by Jordan in the tech section is the only way to do it right. It takes a lot of time and patients. Knowlegde of body work/fiberglass and sanding are key.. If not, take it to a professional body shop, you will be happier with the results. Mine isnt perfect by any means, but it meets my approval.

do you mean older style like made for an alluminum bumper, or have racing dynamics changed the style of their rear apron?

Do you have the door molding with the chrome trim and painted the chrome?

              or

Did you switch that too from a newer car?

              thanks

Older style as in made for the aluminum bumpers. I never really realized that the plastic bumper (like the euros) are much shorter (height wise) and my valance had to be modified. Thats why it doesnt exactly fit right. I still need to do some fitment, but im lazy right now.

I still have the older chrome trim and painted it. Regret it everyday. It chips all the time, and it looks like shit because i just touch it up so you can see how horrible it is up close. Someday I am going to get the right stuff, I just never ventured into how much work was involved in swapping.
