lol...looks like quite the project. Good to see that someone is saving another 318is from a rusty fate.

So I managed to remove the easy-out and drill tip that were broken off in the bolt by grinding away the surrounding bolt with my dremel. I drilled out the hole big enough to fit the M10x1.5 tap in, and luckily it taped beautifully!
I've now got the subframe bolted on and everything is going back together beautifully.Comment
