I've got a new interior on the way. New center console, rear seat, door panels, carpet, headliner, ect. The dash will have to be re covered and the front seats gone over as well. Mechanicals come first though.

    EDIT:

PS, that basketweave is on because the car has tires from 1979. One was blown out when it got here so I had to replace. I have about 8 stock steelies.

What kinda wheels will you run? I have a couple different sets of Basketweaves, if you're looking.

I'm going to run stock steelies and keep the car turf - it's orig color. when I say a 100% stock rebuild I mean it. I feel very guilty for converting the interior to all black.

Hope it's not rusty or your done. Ask Powelli on 2002faq about rust. Or better yet check out some of the project blogs. They can be nightmares.

Black is the best interior color. Second is charcoal / slate grey. Tan is bland, to me.

Steelies - wow - you are serious about the stock rebuild thing :D

Yeah one of those rusty project blogs was mine. powelli's wasn't that bad. you should have seen john Harvey's when he started.

I post here and it's time to drop it and motor swap it. lol.

If I wanted a hot rod 2002 I'd buy a pos squarelight car and fuck it up.
thats cause the guys on the FAQ know what that car is.
i wouldnt fuck that thing up with a motor swap. do what you plan on doing and youll love it.

You know blunt - the more I got into the turbo project the more I realized it was just a novelty. I think if I ever build another beast it will be an e30 or something else. I'd really like a euro m30 in a e30.

I've watched John Harvey's over the years, honestly he should have put it in the ground.

Yea, my squarie is high compression 2 liter, 292 cam, SS valves, dual valve springs, single weber sidedraft, header, exhaust, electronic ignition etc etc. Its alot of fun, even with the stock brakes, suspension and interior. Its a long term project. I don't need something fast when you are dealing with a 2002, I have my turbo 2.8 e30 for that.
