Yeah, the reason I just found this out is that my friend is in the process of stripping down his E28 (1984 Euro Hartge H5S). He was going to paint it a dark Audi pearl blue, because he couldn't find out his original Exterior color.

Low and behold, checked under the rear seat and he found the build sheet. Apparently the color is Schwarzblau, which is a BMW Individual color, and very hard, like near impossible to find on any BMW's. Apparently it was only on a few M635csi's and M1 Procar's. 8-)

Hmm, I don't think so. Do you have any pictures of what it looks like? Taurus and Cherry Red are pretty rare, but I've never heard of Crimson.

thats what mine looks like....the far left said o2 sensor...i pulled it off to save for some reason when i switched to an 85 dash

84's had some random ass 02 sensor failure light on the dash....Why you ask....we will never know.....and for some other stupid reason 84 and 85 have different O2 sensors also

Yeah, I drove my m10 5spd all of 8 miles before I began the teardown.

not every person on here has the money or the know how on how to do an S52 swap my good man ;) ....and they really arent that bad i want to do a 3:73 LSD diff and that 02 block and crank that i have been hearing about as being, not too bad of an application for the people who are light in the pocket.

I don't have any pictures of it. I was looking though ebay in the BMW brochures awhile back and it was for Color and Upholstery selections for 89 or 90 models (i can't remember the exact year). I should of saved the scan that the guy took of the brochure but i didn't .

1. dont you dare change the bumpers on that nice piece of work.
2. dont listen to all this m10 negativity. the M10 is probably the most potent engine out for the E30. its an amazing and simple machine.
3. keep it as stock as possible.
