    who cares if he rebuilt a 4 cylinder? I had my M10 rebuilt on my 84 318. A lot of us dont care too much about these high performance engines, and swaps, and so on. The M42 is a decent motor, at what, around 140 hp? Its not going to beat many things on the road, but its good with gas, and can go when needed (My M44 did at least).

    Nice engine, and like already said, clean that damn engine bay.

          and theres nothin wrong with rebuilding a 4 cyl, i have the same motor, its been used for 17 years.. worst thing thats had to be replaced?????

            With custom ground cams, dinan chip, and exaust. Way faster then stock.

              I think cars are more fun when the limit is lower. I had more fun in my car when it was just an m20b25 with 205 azenis on 14" weaves with bilstein eibachs and big sways than I do now with the turbocharged m20 huge tires (245's) and a better suspension. Now i have to drive twice as fast to be at the limit.
