Ive been playing with this tonight after reading your post.
I found using Simple Green with a white scuff pad(

Works pretty good. It takes time but doesnt chew up the paint.
A little gasoline to soften it up, then at it with the simple green and scuff.
Then polish it up with some compound, then wax. Comes out great.
Ill post some pics tomorrow.

I saw simple green might work, im going to try some of that, and probably a scuff pad or even wet sandpaper then go back over it.
