I removed my back seats, and found a buttload of dog hair(enough to biuld a cat) and half an air freshener...just thought i would share. wheel weighed ~35 lbs, seats weighed 33.5 lbs, tools weighed 7lbs my cat back exhaust is 13lbs lighter than stock. so ive removed 88.5 lbs

Not at all. All he has to do is take one of the good air filled tires and put them in place where the flat once was. Then he has to keep that chain reaction going until he comes to the conclusion to know he is officially fucked lol. Takes a while though so its cool.

I've never road with a spare or a jack. Never had a problem. Of course if I was going on a longer trip I'd take a spare.

I took out just about everything you can besides the dash and front seats in my eta.

My eta was a lot faster than what everyone thinks they are capable of.

A stripped out eta is a ton of fun. no joke. Id race a stock 325i with 4 people in one...

there is actually a lot of weight in the carpet/pad...in some places it is like 4inches thick. I pulled mine up when i did the heater core...and just left it out. i am sure it weighed like 50lbs

The foam by the pedals is at least 6 to 7 incehs thick... When I stripped out my car it had a lot more room i could actually stretch my legs...

You have just totally offset your car's balance and cornering charateristics.

By removing all of that weight from the rear youve essentially increased the car's likelihood to understeer. Not to mention the loss of traction to the rear wheels and the unsightly fender gap you have increased.

Removing the trunk tar from my car has got to be one of the biggest noob mistakes ive made as far as "modding" is concerned.

I would suggest spending more time driving and learning the characteristics of the car instead of trying to mod it to make it faster.

and riding around without a spare tire is just plain silly

You could probably get raped or mugged if you did not have a spare.

Cool that all that stuff weighs that much. and your cars handling characteristics front to rear are not going to change that much for 85 lbs.

My next e30 will have nothing in it other than a seat and roll cage. That will make it more front heavy, but oversteer is where its at!
