Don't forget most E36's run offsets in the 38-42mm range! And these are undersized tires.
Yeah, they are funky ass rims. Even I am not used to them yet, it's wierd coming from stretched 40 series tires to those. But they have better fitment than the Azev's, I need to buy spacers for the Azevs.
