Fucking cool Jason! I was never into those cars until recently. My boss is doing a full blown resto on a convertible for his wife in our shop right now. I love it.__________________

my dad and I started to restore a 61 rampside, but i went off and joined the military. it was a central california car it's whole life, bought by fresno state university as a utility vehicle!
how much does a good condition driver corvair go for? Nothing special, just a nice looking example. I might buy one for my dad's 60th birthday in a few yearsComment

Don't matter to me.
I did trade the turbo drive line for a 358sbc today. My dad was wanting to put that 358 in his 66 monza with the Toro. trans axle. But he's been on me for the turbo. So we made a deal and now i got the 358. I think it may go into my S-15 ...
And i'd say $3000 would buy a nice one that would need some stuff. I bought this one here for $3000 with a burnt valve. And it came with a 1969 500 parts car that had a fairly fresh 140/4spd in it.
