I hate that orange thing. The rims especially. ;) hahaha. I remember when I was in Germany and I first called your house, your daughter answered and said "Alo" with her German accent. I thought holy shit that was cute. hahaha.
mike, what's the cost to have that rim straightened? I've got a guy close to me that just finished my ACT wheels. i about shit my pants when he was leading me to the storage room that my wheels were in, and we walked through an entire room full of BBS RS's!!!!!!
thanks for the compliments. both of my toys were pretty sick and in need of alot of love when I got them. this one still needs a bunch, but its coming along. The M3 took about 8 years to get it where its at now too.
as far as the tires, I really dont think(hope) they will rub. I am running 245/45/17 on 7.5 inch wide(i think et45 or someting like that, with a 15mm spacer.- i think! I have adj. konis on the rear, and they are set pretty stiff(i know not good for launching it) and it seems to still have quite a bit of room- we will see. the tires were free, and brand new, so thats why i went with that size.
the rim to be straightened- price??? not sure, but I am hoping to pay around 50- 60 for it-I hope. PM euro 3, he is in contact with one of the BBS polishing guys here in germany that straightens wheels. I think he wants 60 euros per 2 things to fix on each wheel( or something like that)
As far a Karlsruhe No, i wont drive the M3 that far. I do 2 shows every year and they are in Bayreuth and in Tauberbischhofsheim- or something like that.-- the later is a M and Alpina only show. I dont even like bringing the car to shows, I dont want to sit next to it, and I cant stand all the haters that only pick out the things wrong with it.
maybe the turbo car though- neither are plated here, so I have to find some dealer plates or something( and the laws are getting alot harder on that.)
the M3's name is em-dry-bully (M3 in german-with a "bly" at the end) and the trucks name is of course "trucki"
