350-400 horsepower is hardly "built" for an STi. And E30s are the best cars ever, OMG. Why come into a thread of WRX owners and say "hiieeee guys, E30s are better!!!"? I realize this is an E30 forum, but...I dunno. I guess I give you guys too much credit.

And yes, I get defensive when it comes to Subarus. They're my first love, and I take it more personally than if you were to insult my mother.

8atman, what else is done to your car? Maybe you listed it at some point, but I didn't read through the whole thread. How'd you smog it with the FMIC?

HAHA yeah I wasnt gonna get into the pissing battle because I love e30's and have alot of respect for them but if you are a car lover you cant deny a well powered strong handeling car...or can you lol. Its all good I have many friends who will probably die owning there e30's and thats fine with me.

Yeah 350 crank HP from an sti is nothing more then a chip and exhaust which isnt much. If it is putting down 500whp then you might shit your pants from the sheer experience of driving in a real sports car. Lets just agree that both e30's and wrx's are awesome and have there weakness's and strenghts.

perrin FMIC
ECU tuned and flashed
about 18-22lbs of boost on stock turbo :( gonna fix that real soon
brembos up front
helix coilovers
perrin sway bars
cusco subframe renforcments
prodrive wheels
nice soft track day tires (stick like glue even at night haha)
3in from turbo back all perrin
50k on the clock
lots more but cant think of it now.

The paint is flawless and so is the interior I just clay bared it and detailed it through and through the past few weeks, gonna take an orbital buffer to it soon to erase all the spider webs. I like my cars to be nice and clean!!!

Definitely fix that stock turbo problem! A FMIC with a stock turbo is overkill and can even hurt performance. Also, the stock turbo is highly inefficient at boost pressures as high as what you're running. What kind of engine management do you have? Accessport?

50k miles is looooowww. My car has 93,000 and counting. No major mechanical problems to date. I love my Suby, it's been incredible reliable.

I hear you homie, the stock turbo is on its way out... I am waiting for a few things and saving up for the new turbo and tune. I was really hesitant to by it due to the stock turbo issue but I will give it the right parts to play with. I am excited to see the numbers I will be putting down. I am not sure what kind of engine management it has, not accessport some kinda ecutech or something like that. After the turbo swap I hope to be putting down about 325whp so about 375hp from the crack...GONNA BE FUN!!! :)

Nice upgrade, I loved how your E30 looked too. The black/red sportmaxes with the red car looked so good. Have fun with the Subie though, I've always liked WRX's and wouldn't mind owning one some day.

Nope, I've had one guy in an E30 flash his highs at me in my 3 years of owning it and that's about it. My car is by no means a jaw dropper but it's extremely clean, so you think there'd be some other E30 enthusiast that'd give you a thumbs up or something. I don't even bother acknowledging other BMW drivers around here, 90% of them are pricks so it's not worth the time (unless it's an E30). Half of the people driving newer bimmers around here probably wouldn't even realize my car was a BMW as well..
