IMO the Z4 2.5 is a good compromise while lowering the knob considerably. If it is too notchy, the E46 ZHP knob is weighted and factory, what is better than that?

His car does have the ZHP knob. I actually prefer a taller shift knob, to be honest.

          hubcaps 4 lyfe btw
Yes, I've driven his car extensively. I owned it before he did.

You're damn right. I've missed having 4 doors since I sold my '85 325e back in October.

Sweet. You're gonna need to get the single slat Euro front valance to complete that pauvre européen look.

It's not like a 266K mile M42's gonna bowl you over with fuel economy. I think an E36 328 could match it.

Then I'd have to own an E36.

Nice clean car. I know what you mean about the gass sipppin. Since I got the 91 318is running that I bought, I have been driving wheels off of it and enjoying the gas milage since I normally drive a full size truck as a DD. It is now used when I need it and all the driving around is done the the 318. I love mine but it does need a paint job. Yours looks very clean. Congrats.

nice car!, but I think you paid a little too much, for California standard prices it should have been closer to 2000 dollars but once again nice car.......
