Yeah.... we actually got the car fired up, even with a messed up head. When I put the new belt on, I messed up the timing by a tooth. After nearly 24 hours of working on the car non-stop, I called it a day.
I still managed to go to the event and drive four different cars, including the ridiculous 1JZ powered RX7 that Elliot pictured (powered by a GT2871R, sounding meaner than V8s)
All in all good fun, just a shame the motor took the plunge. Interference motors will bite you in the ass if you don't keep them in check.
