you would preffer them in oxidized alluminum and faded black strip?

Bought this car locally last fall, it had the hardtop and it was in ok condition : (exterior faded, dings, scratches, stonechips, etc). The good thing was that it only had 2 local owners, maitainence records and 103,500 Miles (driven less than 5k miles a year !!!)

So I went on to the project.

                First - Complete TUNE-UP :

                1) New Water Pump, New Thermostat, Coolant Flush, New Coolant hose
                2) New Timing Blet, Timing Belt tensioner, New V-Belts
                3) New Fuel Filter, New Air Filter, New Breather hose.
                4) Valve adjustment job, New Valve cover gasket, New Shaft plugs
                5) Oil change, new Oil filter, New Washer reservoir

                new timing belt

                <br>

                new water pump

                other new Tune-Up parts

                then, onto the bodywork

Right after we completed the car, first time outside with the new paint job!

got these BBS RS style Konig rims with Pirelli P6 tires, what a difference it makes !

                moar pics !

Yup, oxidized or rusty is the only way to go, even better if dents are there!

No, I don't like it painted body color. Restored to stock is what I'd prefer ;)

Man that is sweet. I like the photo shoot, very 80's retro. Just need a Guard Red matching Porsche. he he
That was nice job on the fast resto. Question Vlad, did you remove any of the chrome molding trims or you just masked over them? Looks really good.

I love these two pics. Its so 80's.
