They sit out the same from the door as the stock mirrors do, only they don't cover the door trim like the stocks.

I thought it was probably the mirrors, I couldn't think of any other E30 ACS stuff that you would have put on your car that would change the look.

It's the typical house vinyl tiles (Armstrong is the brand I believe), do not use them. They do not hold up well over time and even with full floor prep and sealing the concrete, they tend to slide under the weight of a car. Eventually I will pull them all up and just paint the floor.
