    My Dirty '87 327i

Here are some pics as requested. The car has full "E" bottom with full "I" top. I also included a few pics of the wheels & build. The wheels are Enkei RS-5s 17x7 or 7.5 haven't measured them, tires are 205/40-r17. I want to refinish/paint them, mainly to repair the curb rash they've aquired at some point in their life.

Before the flaming starts I apologize for the horrible fender gap! It will be fixed in the near future, hopefully.

I got a good deal on the new/used head, it supposedly has 134k on it but there is absolutely no and I mean no oil staining. :hitler:

In the pic of the engine bay, you'll notice that the intake manifold vaccum block is a dual port. Which I've never seen before, should come in handy when I decide to boost the motor.

All in all it is my DD/project. I'm open to opinions/ideas.

    suggestions:

    for looks:
    - lower car
    - change wheels or put 1.5 in. adapters, so the offset looks right and flushes on the fender
    - tuck in front and rear bumpers and flat black the polish look
    - flat black your kidney's
    - clean your car cuz that bird shit will kill the paint, hehe
    - get angel eyes, lol, jk... get the french smiley's
    - wanna buy my rear tailights and rear plate filler?

I know it needs a wash, it also needs a respray. But I have to take it down to the primer because it has at least one respray on it already. That looks like crap, cause who ever did it didn't remove little things on the car when it was resprayed the last time. I will be getting a set of bottlecaps in a few weeks. I do plan on tucking the bumpers and replacing the lower spoiler. Thanks for the opinion and keep'em coming.

We will address the above mentioned things when you get to my house bro. It will be the next E30 Lifestyle project. We can handle the bumper tuck, lower, and blacking out whatever you need blacked out.

You car will look even better than it does now. We could even clay bar it.

I might even know someone that can take those wheels off your hands and get you in some baskets or some bottlecaps.

Coming down here will be the best decision you will have made in a long time. For you and for you car.

This is gonna be sick. Just wait.

You all do realize that I may not/won't have alot/any money to play with for awhile. Right!?! I should be heading that way around the middle of May, when the wife and I get our economic growth tax check thing. Hopefully! I wish I had the cash now cause I'd be on my way already.

We can do a lot to your car as far as looks, with very little dough. The lowering can wait but hell if you trade someone for some weaves and some money, you will have some cash to play with. It will be fine. If anything we can get the blacking out done and the bumper tuck.

We will have plenty to do.

                        E30Josh,

You're close to me as well. If you wanna cruise down sometime just let me know. We should set up a mini meet and a little photo shoot.

There are a lot of cool places to shoot around here. Blayne, Devil Inc will be here in the middle of May so that will be one more person that will be down for a mini meet.

Blayne, do you think you could come any earlier? Bimmerfest is on the 3rd of May if you could make it out sooner.

Sorry but I'll be a bit later than Bimmerfest. As for the rims I will be picking up a set of bottle caps for $45 each with almost new tires from a local salvager.

If you're gonna go with stock wheels your better off getting weaves.

Devil Inc., i got some lowering springs for you, bro, you can have them if pe2one doesn't want them. I usually give him and the e30 lifestyle crew here in socal first dips to stuff i get rid of at no cost (although, donations are accepted, :)). as for your new IS valence, i got mine from the junkyard for $16, lol, so just wait 'til you get here unless you know of cheaper ones out there.

this is cool! another e30 member in socal, woo hoo!
