?????? What doubt or misleading could they "create?" The M3 has bulged fenders.

Personally mine came off because I wanted to clean the paint in between the badge. I still have the original badge with new 3M but just like the look.

Now that we are talking about badges I am going to remove my trunk roundel and replace it with the MB badge.

I don't think there are many people who are going to try to mislead others about which model they have.

Plus, i've never seen a 318 or non-iS model and thought anything about it, other than "Ohh, an E30!!!"

+1 on the blacked out badge if you do decide to put them on
      I completey agree!

Some of us like sleepers. Even after I dropped an I-6 into my E30, I kept the "318is" badge. I even have a 2-into-1 Magnaflow muffler so there is still only one exhaust tip. Looks like a stock 318is from the outside (or at least as stock as any E30 with TMS J-stock suspension, rollbar, BBK, big wheels/tires, Recaros, and 6-point harnesses can look).

Paint looks good. How much did it cost you for the respray? I am looking at getting paint done on my ic later on this year.

dude, that is some bright beautiful red.....

keep it debadged... its too cluttering to see the 325 is... if you want iS pride then leave the iS on there but black it out....

clean ass ride btw, how much did that respray run you?

Heat it up with a heatgun/hair dryer first.
Use some dental floss, getting as close to the paint as possible
Remove residue with Goo-Gone / Paint cleaner
                      Wax afterwards

                      Done.

You could not be any more wrong. I'm going to be pulling the badge off my m3 because I prefer the clean look. I can assure you I am not embarrassed with what I have.

Leave 'em off. Cleaner is better.
