    My new MINT 1989 325ix A LOT

As I said before, the car is MINT. I just had my old Alpine CD Deck put in it today. The car was all stock before I got it, now the stereo is no longer stock :)

Not to rain on your parade but I see residue from a recent "cut and polish" all over the car.. that and there are still alot of areas with pink tinge to them from oxidation damage. Doesn't look like a car with well kept paint to me....

Well kept paint for 15 years. The car hasn't been repainted or touched up anywhere. I have every receipt for the car since it was new. The pink "tinge" you are seeing is most likely from the crappy Fuji Film digital camera I have (some pictures have flash, others don't). The only place with the pink tinge you are refering to is the mirrors.

Dont tell me about the paint condition and tinges... I spent 3 years doing cut and polishes in various detail shops i've worked in. I know what I see.. from a mile away.

how come your knee bolster is from a 5spd e30?

Nice car....but $8,600 is a lot of money.
What are your plans for it?

I am telling you about the paint condition because my digital camera is a POS. I'll post some pictures of quality soon from my friends Canon Powershot digital camera. Big difference. In person, there aren't any 'tinges.'

I had it appraised today: $12,000 was the value.

Timing belt was just replaced when the transfer case was. The PO wanted the transfer case replaced to stop the leak.

I have no major plans for it now. I might get some summer wheels for it. I may also get a strut bar, but I'm going to keep it stock for now.

I bought it so I could put the ic in the garage for winter. The ic is terrible in the snow and the ix should do a whole hell of a lot better. A M would be worse :(

Nice 4x4 ride height ......... oh wait. ;)
Looks clean, but the shift knob is suxor.

Seriously though, your valve cover could REALLY use a coat of black krinkle paint. Buy Josh's (Eurospeed88's) and then paint it and swap it. Would be REAL easy! 8)

looks really clean, i wouldn't say it's mint but nice find anyways. Thats alot of money to spend on an auto though, IMO. Congrats on the new purcahse.
