Nice 4x4 ride height ......... oh wait. ;)
Looks clean, but the shift knob is suxor.
Seriously though, your valve cover could REALLY use a coat of black krinkle paint. Buy Josh's (Eurospeed88's) and then paint it and swap it. Would be REAL easy! 8)
lol. Get a 5spd shift knob. While you're in there, get a matching tranny too =)
just messing. Its a nice looking car, just a bit pricy.

Perfect platform for an Evo killer... just needs a 2.8 turbo. If its going to be used mostly in winter I probably would have looked for one in not as good condition. But lots of guys run their clean cars in the snow. I doubt they are dumb enough to use tons of road salt where your located anyway. Mud flaps would be a good 'mod' though. looks good
$8600 for a automatic with vinyl interior? It has very low miles and the paint looks to be nice, but I don't think the interior is in any better condition than my '84 318i.
They do use tons of salt here. Thats their answer over plowing.
I picked this car because I wanted to get one as early as possible when the weather is still good, just in case things need to be done with it. I don't want to be spending a day in a garage with a propane heater again in the dead of winter (15 degrees) changing a water pump and thermostat.
I just wanted to get a reliable piece of transportation that will have many years of life left in it. Many of the people on these forums would rather pay $3,000 for a car and put another $5,000 in it over the years to get it back in orginal condition or 'modded.' The people who mod their cars, usually have trouble reselling them again. I bought this car because I shouldn't have to put anymore than what I paid for it in it. The car will always have the resell potential. There are a lot of people in my immediate area that would be interested in an older BMW that is all wheel drive for the winter. The car didn't sell to well down there because the guy didn't advertise it locally. It was on Autotrader.com and Roadfly.org. He had people calling from all over the country asking about the car, but who really wants to travel across the country to look at a car?
Anyways, I'm very happy with the car and I don't have any problems with it being an automatic. Yeah, it would be nice for it to be standard transmission, but the car still moves with it being an automatic.
I appreciate the comments, at least most of them ;)

hey MPH dont mind these haters They are just jealous dude, they are just thinking of all the PS2 games and porno mags they could of gotten with the money spent on your car.
Its a great looking car and I wish you the best of luck with it. Looks super clean! And as far as the paint it looks great for a 13 year old original job, with the morrors you might want to hit them with a nice coat, my cabrio mirrors looked like that also when I got the car.

Fuck, I'm agreeing with Avi.
Seriously kids, it's a low mileage e30. Finding cars like this with under 100k, let along 60k is a pain in the ass. Not to mention a very clean car with a brand new transfer case, one of the priciest parts on an 'ix, and prone to failure from the factory.
This is also an adult owned car. Something that's getting very rare to find these days. It looks like it has actually been maintained, not ni-, er, jerry-rigged like 95 percent of the cars on here because the owners have to wait for their next 3 paychecks to replace something.
Late model ic's, M3's & ix's all claim 7+k every day, 8k is not an exorbinant amount for a car in excellent condition. You guys with 270k mile 325e's may not grasp that.
It being an automatic really doesn't bother me that much. I already have a car that is more of pleasure driver, not to say the ix isn't. My ic is a standard transmission and when the weather is good and I want to drive stick, I'll drive that.
Thanks again everyone for the comments.

No recaro's, no real leather, no full OBC, and automatic. Really not my type a car, but if you are happy with it thats all that matters. Now to comment on the condition, the car looks MINT, and I envy you for it...
