I got that same stuff when I detextured my front valance, and it didnt work at all. Maybe I didn't let it sit long enough. Mine was in the spray can too, not just in a can like yours is. How long did you let it sit on there for?
Before you have it painted, grind/sand down the seams in the rear valance.
Tip if you have lots of paint or areas that dont want to come off, Lay the stuff on heavy an cover it with a trash bag. The bag keeps the fumes in and keeps the stripper from drying out as fast. We redid a buddy of mines camaro in HS that had been mashed a couple of times an had a total of 7 layers of paint and primer on it in places, the bag trick is how we got it all off.

i wonder if the aresol stuff isnt as good as the can...
Speaking from experience - someone that stripped the entire exterior of a 2002 (me and M3 ryan) - the "aerosol" cans do a fantastic job. Well - they don't strip the paint at all - but if you want to see double - they are excellent.
The trick stuff is in a tin can as above(aircraft) - it's a gel - you "paint it on" - with a synthetic sponge, brush, rag - what have you
When the can says you need a ventilated area - THEY MEAN OUT SIDE. We applied it in a garage with the main door up, windows and a side door open - the fumes were unreal.
If you think I'm joking - I use hydrochloric acid every week - this is like that but gets into your skin, your hair, everything.- just from the air.
Hope that helps...

Guys, another warning when using aircraft stripper: get ALL of it out of the cracks.
That shit will seep into the tiniest cracks and royally screw your new paint.
You might want to consider covering the cracks with duct tape, then just hand sanding the final bits. I have had that crap ruin my efforts 9 months down the road...

I tried the can stuff before on other things, its not as strong. I let a thick layer of that stuff sit for about 1/2hour or so, and then just started scraping away with the razor followed by a coarse brillow pad.
