                            Wow that doesnt sound like a bad idea. Its not chromed out, its just newly polished. Looks chromed out thats the downside of polishing your aluminum. It looks like chrome for a while.

                              Well, I'd expect them to stay as shiney as possible for as long as possible, along with the lips.

                              I'm unfamiliar with actually "using" them. Are they hand tight, or do you tighten them down with something(tool)? Paint might chip off that cap, thats why i ask.
