I took them without care with my D70. Lighting was horrible.... yes there are lights everywhere but NOT the lights you want to be using. Just showing you the area I was working with.

Maybe we can take some pro pictures at the end of the term in the big cove in the back with that giant strobe.

Why would I want to use a equipment from a fake shitty school?

Oh, sorry me bad. I Assumed you were at Brooks. Not a far stretch since you list SB as your location - and Brooks is in SB. Point still is valid?

O the things I would do in there, drool over the ceiling soft box..

The equipment is there you just need to use it (and your camera) properly, which in it self is no small task.

whats the power of that strobe, i doubt its powerful enough to utilize that soft box. You could have put more effort into these. It looks sloppy and not set up at all, you can see all the lights, there is nothing pleasing to look at in the photos. There flat, way too grainy, boring really.

Sorry for being so critical, but for being shot in a controlled light situation, plus being in school for this, isn't all that great

Agreed, there is plenty of light in there for a slower shutter speed/higher ISO shot. I could work wonders with my Rebel XTI in there and I suck ass at photography.

Does this guy even own a tripod?

like why did you shoot at 800 ISO? also another problem you had was you tried to manually pick your white balance, you should stick with auto white balance unless you make a custom WB. The preset ones are never quite the exact measurement

Amateur hour at the apollo! This is the equivalent of flying to Germany to ride a Go-ped around the nurburgring.

What's up with the seemingly discrediting going on here...

Don't you guys remember some of Spiff's other nice fotography work..??

This series just went wrong; that's all.
