    some updates

I stripped all the tint off the windows, blacked out the kidneys, added the plastic piece in the lower part of the valance, and a few other little things. I know it's dirty and it needs to get into the paint shop, but it's slowly getting there.

I'll try to get some better lighted pics when I can get out of work.

Wow...looking really good. I think throwing stars are some of the sexiest wheels alive. If I ever to a 5 lug conversion, i will invest in a staggered set of 17" throwing stars.

    nice work

Good call on the tint... it was way too dark.

Thanks, I have WAY too much money in those wheels since I paid a lot and then refinished them, but hey, I like 'em!

The tint was bugging me. I thought about going back with 35% all the way around but the car won't ever sit out so I think I'll just leave it clean.

What did you use to get the tint off of the back window without ruining the defroster lines?

          Car looks great!

I just cut one of the corners above the defroster line and then peeled off the tint one piece. All 5 windows came off in one piece. My sedan was a pain, the back window had to be done in pieces.

Actually it's a different color than his and no where near as nice. Just looks the same since we are the only ones with the t-stars.

                      They 17x8 E34 T-stars are only 19lbs. The 17x9's I don't think are much more than that.

I believe the AKT 16x7.5 replicas are decently hefty, well over 20lbs.

I would be willing to bet that 90% of the members on this forum couldn't shave half a second off their autocross times with lighter wheels so why is weight always brought up??

I like the looks of the wheels. That being said I will be getting some track wheels. Not to get lighter, but to have track tires mounted on.

As for the bling factor, if I wanted bling I would have chromed them
