    Don't get me wrong, I love the way my IX handles but that still doesn't change the lack of caster, even with offset CABs. In the hands of a poor driver that can be disaster when you add S50 power.

      the caster isn't a big deal, what it really lacks is camber. ;)

        I know, but when we loops it and overcorrects, well... At least there will be a cheap S50 swap for sale soon!

          you are probably lifting the throttle when it starts to rotate. it's pretty easy to spin actually - but you have to keep your foot planted instead of your instinct to let off and let the front wheels do their work. I'd say it's probably worse than a regular E30 snap oversteer on throttle lift. I was pretty surprised the first time it happened to me..

            Yeah, I had a few scary moments in the snow last year in my boss's IX before I had my own to fuck up in. It's really counterintuitive at first but once you the bug bit me I had to go get one of my own!

                no ebay here.. bumper isnt fiber glass :finger: its real reiger..

                ALL THE PARTS ON MY CAR ARE PERFECTLY FINE.. NOTHING BROKEN...

                IF I CAN FIND A M50 525 IX OILPAN THEN HELL YA ILL DO AN S50-52 AWD..

                ANY ONE KNOW WHO WOULD HAVE ONE.. OR WHERE i can find one besides dealer.. dealer is $900

                all im saying is that ive spent alot on the car and looking for the easiest way to give it some power.. alot of power

                also the transfer case will not hold power over 200 hp..t
                thats what ive heard since its chain driven..:finger:

                          you don't need or want a 525ix oil pan. the 325ix front diff won't bolt up to that - so you would need a 525ix front differential, driveshaft, and CV shafts, and you would need a matching gear ratio for the back to use it. What you do need is an ix oil pan, an E36 oil pan, and somebody who can weld aluminum.

                            S50=240hp
                            S52=260hp

                            Both are more than 200 :retard:

                              oh yeah, I missed that.

                              yeah, an S50 ix is definitely not for somebody who doesn't even know how the AWD system works.. I'd be amazed if somebody actually broke that chain. Ask the guys in sweeden what theY break in drag races with 400+hp turbos.. it's not the transfer case.

                              and both S50s are 240hp :p
