yeah, beautiful car! I would also like to know how did you crack your pan if you were running a plate? That is the only reason my car sits the way it does. I never want to be under my car like that if I dont have to.

thank you for the pictures and an amazing car!

I believe that every scene does have its ups and downs, but every scene I have experienced, the dub scene surpasses many of my expectations. If you know me the way some of my friends do, they'll prolly tell you that I'll take my shirt off my back just to help you. And believe me when I say I have experience a lot of different scenes, from the dub scene to the e46 crowd, hell, I am even part of the new tundra crowd after purchasing my 08 tundra this year. I haven't been in the e30 scene for a long time, although my first car was an e30 back in HS. I was never part of the e30 scene. As far as I can tell, (even though I dont post much) the e30 scene is a good crowd, prolly as good as the dub scene. Only time will tell.

BTW I love my friends and the dub scene in general. Here's a thread on vortex that they started just to find my old car. http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3883496. I hope to become close to the e30 scene as I have in the dub scene!!! Check that thread, you'll see some of the cars that I built and help build in the past couple of years. Mostly dubs. LOL!

Oh regarding my e30 in vegas, I busted my oil pan through the 666fab skid plate prolly due to the fact that the road was majorly f'd up. It was uneven and was shaped like this ^, i turned the corner and just heard a loud bang and scraping noise. I didnt realize that I was gushing oil everywhere until I seen my oil light come on and people telling my there is oil everywhere. Don't worry I shut it off right when I found out, and the car is fine now. I actually drove it to work this whole week.

Thanks for the great comments guys!!

I've said it before, but I'll say it again, sick car! Are you running 16" or 17" DZ Exclusives?

I'm telling you guys, a skid plate will not help in the way that our oil pans get blown to bits. if your car is slammed. Skid plates protect you from large rocks and stuff like that, sure, but who is going to go off-road in a lowered E30? The only kind of damage that an oil pan could suffer from in a lowered E30 is impact type damage, which the skid plate would have no protection against anyway. Like imagine slamming your hand against the table open palm with 3000lbs or more pressure, that's what your oilpan is going through. Now put a sheet of paper between your hand and the table, it does just as much damage.

i feel your pain.... these New York streets are treacherous especially in a lowered car.. Im on my fourth pan but i refuse to raise it back up

I want to actually go lower.....

It's not that it sticks out so much, he just has the rubber aerodynamic seal between the bumper and the valence that makes it seem like there is a large gap.

I love all of your cars. I need to make my way out West some day. Hopefully my fender roller will get in before this weekend so I can get my fenders lookin' nice like yours :D

What are the specs on the wheels and tires? final offsets with spacers if any?
