I looked all over for about 2 months and finally ended up paying about what you did. Anything I found for around $3k was in pretty poor shape. Enjoy it bro.

Yes, that is a small rust spot by the rear liscence plate, but I will take care of it very soon. I also need to put a new muffler on it....what exhaust do you guys think is best? I do have a few mods planned, but nothing major in the near future because I need more $$. Most of what I will be doing is small things like red tails, black kidneys, E36 window switches, etc. I just need to get new exhaust very soon, so give me your opions on what to put on.

Ireland Engineering (www.bmw2002.com) makes a pretty good exhaust. I have it, and I think a few other guys on here do as well. It's probably the cheapest you will find (with the exception of an Ansa or stock replacement) at $445 right now.

If you want to spend a little more...I've always been a big fan of Supersprint.

Brullens sound amazing for $110~ without tips and ~$300 with tips. Dual in dual out universal muffler. They sound awsome.

I think you mean "you" have weaves....and I do, I showed a pic of one of 'em on the first page. I had them put on today with new tires. The tires that were on them were beyond bald. So I drove it home on the winter tires with those hideous wheels.
