Yes it is an S3.46. Todd from Dynotech Motorsports in Oceanside sent one of his guys to pick it up from Ecology. I thought it was from an e28 but I'm not 100% sure. I do know that It took a long time to find one. I was planning to use it for a turbo build but that has been postponed, so I figured I could still use it to increase mpg. At 75 the revs are at 2900 which is perfect.sigpic

The 3.46 only came in the US E23 735i (85-86), and some '88 528e's. And yes it is a nearly perfect ratio.
