New Pics! Inteior, Exterior, Engine, and Problems![56k lol]

Here are some better, but smaller (for some bandwidth convience) pics showing my ride. I tried to illustrate the issues I'm having with the spoliers and the paint, but some of you wanted some better pics, so here they are.

    Problems...

Notice in the above how some of the paint is faded, here I tried to show the difference...

    Cracked and faded rear spolier...

Messed up front, missing IS lip...

I hope to get those fixed soon! Hope you guys enjoy!

Shit son you're complaining about those little things? My car was like yours back one year ago for me, and I still have tons more to go, and trust me, your paint is still damn nice.

I do reccomend losing the terrible pinstripe. Diamantshwarz was meant to be shown off without one.

FINALLY SOMEONE THAT ARGEES WITH ME!! Haha! I've always wanted to take that off. Everyone else I've talked to is like no, keep the stripe. How did you go about getting it off?

Lose the pin stripe, repaint the spoiler, get an "iS" lip and detail it.

Fingernail. WD40. Other sticker adhesive removers you can find in spraycans at your nearest auto store...Just take your time, and don't use more than your fingernail. It'll leave huge scratches.

That's a funky ass pin stripe. That can't be factory, its in such a wierd position.

I look at your car and I see my car 4 years ago.

BMW really stuck it to us on the front spring height (U.S market 318is's) ;)

WD40 is kinda weak in getting the adhesive off. I've been scrubbing for like 15 minutes and only managed to get like a foot of the adhesive off. Anything else you can recommend? Acetone perhaps?

BTW, even with the adhesive on, the diamantscharwz sans stripes looks like 100x better. Amazing!

Go buy a pinstripe remover. It looks like a big gum eraser, you chuck it in a drill and it pulls the adhesive right off without damaging the paint.

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

use a heat gun(or hairdryer) and fingernails. heat it up while you go along. then clean up the adhesive with adhesive remover. it takes awhile but it works just fine.
