I had to pinch myself and make sure that time hadn't rolled back 20 years....

Stunning example of a showroom condition E30-I would love to have that car.

      Thanks for the compliments :)

Acutally, the PO had a set of H&R sports for the car that he supplied with it when I got it. I ended up selling them since they werent' installed, and b/c the car was supposed to be more of a time period car, one that's mostly stock, but I tried to keep that minty appearance.

Fuck, man, pitch the pile of Ford (which means "fucker only runs downhill") and find another E30 to mod the hell out of and bomb back and forth to work.

In the meantime, did you ever think about using a set of M3 springs on there? Tiny drop, looks like it was meant to be that way, and of course, no mods to the car. Add a set of urethane control arm bushings and the car will feel 100X more stable, predictable adn have better braking, too.

We are talking about like $175 UDS total here, not big fat money.

Another thing you might wanna think about is getting whatever the hell that deck is out of there and getting a "Business Class CD43" CD player, something that looks right, unlike that unsightly thing that fills the stereo hole.

Those are way more expensive these days, like $350ish.

It would be really cool to see a set of some period specific wheel on there, but the Borbets (IIRC) do look OK, but a set of 4 lug T-Stars would just rock socks, man.

Incredibly cool car, being so pristine and all.

        Welcome to R3V.

Hehee, thanks man. Actually, in the city I currently live in I'm always just taking public transit since I live in an apt. and we only have 1 spot.

Honestly, I don't mind the Escort with it's great fuel economy, and ease of maintenance...it really makes it an awesome car to use as a reliable beater.

I couldnt' agree more about the stereo tho, it was replaced as well as all of the factory wiring b4 I go tthe car from the PO. It was done professionally, so there's no wires hanging out or anythign silly. The deck i'd probably go for is probably a nice little Nak, those decks REALLY compliment the lines and interior of the e30's.

Thanks again for all the compliments :)
