    e21 323i wreck...

So about four years ago I wrecked my henna red 1980 323i. by far the most devastating accident i've had. I wasnt hurt bad and thankfully my passenger wasnt either. It could have been much worse. The car had suspension techniques springs, bilstien dampers, huge ST sway bars, BBS front end, BBS 13x6 wheels powder coated track black, two great looking blue cloth recaros, the rest of the interior was gutted, e30 power windows. The car was a truley savage handler. I was young, trying to show off, i was running kumho victoracer tires and they were cold, hit the corner too fast, whipped it sideways, overcorrected and wrapped the tree as seen in some of the pics. its not sitting on the tree because i was only about a block away from my house (cold tires) and i wanted to push it home before the cops showed up... didnt work.

If there could be good news that came from this. the clutch and flywheel are now in my 89 325i ( 9lbs lighter). the headlights are in my 85 323i and the rest of it went towards bartering, selling, trading for e30 parts and such. plus several e21 in the area got quite a bit cooler. and thats me with the hippy ass long hair... a phase i guess.

Sorry about the car, but damn you guys were lucky. E21 are too tail happy. Specially 323s. If you dont look out you might end up wrapped around a tree.

Nice pictures, they have a sad but important feel to them.

class of '01....haha, I had to sit there for a minute to think where it was, but I knew it looked really familiar. I was gonna say, those are the fanciest artsy accident pics I've ever seen

Good grief, you runied quite a nice car there. Did you do most of the work to the car? I have quite a soft spot for Henna E21's.

It sucks to see a tastefully modded E21 (with the exception of the offset license plate and the windshield banner) meet it's fate like that one did.
