Guy...
I don't "build" engines... (though I've worked on a lot of them as a tech and have done a lot of work on induction flow in the long past)
I have never claimed to be the power-plant wizard.
Does anyone else here not get this?
Edit: I do belive the valve stems are 7mm... Though I could be wrong.

If you indeed did build a 11k 4cyl based BMW engine,
you´ll know this.
valve size
stem size
maximum valve lift
Why do people try and find out the truth?
To prevent mis-information, so that untruthful things posted around the internet don´t go running around like urban myths that people actually believe in.
for instance
forged diesel cranks > normal cast in m20 engines.
Nobody has ever seen a m20 crank fail from torque output or sub 8k running.Leave a comment:

Why are you this worthless? Posting up random dyno sheets. What a tool.
There's about 100 extra ft lbs than would be believable for a S42-replica.
But so this thread is not completely a waste of time / bandwidth with an old washed up former druggie social awkward drama queen who turns wrenches and slings strut braces...

Oh the engine is from a different place? Strange because the bullshit all seems to be coming from the same place?Leave a comment:

This is what we (YOU) are talking about.Yes... 11k M42
I dont have any of my own images but here... This is what they look like:

I've never been big on photographing this shit or keeping and showing off dyno results...
Never really been questioned much in the real world... I'm not the "Power-plant" guy at any rate.Leave a comment:
