i removed the driver side high beam for purpose of ram air intake(cone filter is directly behind it) and if its not that, the diving board bumpers have been pushed in and powder coated black

Looks nice, but I agree something is a bit off. I think it's the way the spokes bow out beyond the lip?

                Good lookin' car, Rhys.

My '87 sits about like yours does, what springs you running?

                Welcome to R3V.

Rhys, I thought the location of your third picture was beautiful. I tried to balance the colors a bit for you, here's how it turned out.

Nice job on the colour balancing and yes you are right the spokes do stick out further then the lip of the rims....more so the front then the back. About the suspension its kind of a long story. In short the springs have been heated with a torch till they sunk.....I know i am as disgusted a everyone else. The long story is I bought the car with it already lowered like that. And on top of that it had a snapped/twisted connecting rod and have spent all my money on personally rebuilding the engine in my garage, so the fact that it is on the road and running brings a smile to my face. Be at ease though my next move is buying new suspension and tires (tires have rediculous camber wear due to improper lowering) and am pretty sure it is going to be the H&R sport cup kit.

Very nice! Looks clean and tasteful.

I'd suggest H&R Sport or Race springs... that will probably give you the same drop, and won't be so soft as the cup kit. I don't think there is a "sport cup kit"... But I could be wrong.

Pretty sick man. You rarely see clean early model Schwartz cars.

                        Clean.

Yeah, no shit. I get tons of compliments on mine, but soon as you get withing 20 feet the scratches and massive swirls show...needs repainted so bad.

This car and a few others are highly motivational!

There is the touring cup kit which lowers the car 1.3" F and 1.3" R and the one
i am interested in is the sport cup kit which drops the car 2.1" F and 1.7" R
My friend is running this kit in his 86 325E and the stance looks about perfect. I was not aware that the cup kits were less stiff the say the H&R sport springs. Thanks for the warm welcome and the great comments!
