How is the G6 treating ya?

I looked at the v8 G8 the other day at the dealer when the Yukon Denali was in for service and might pick a v8 G8 up at the end of the year.

Sorry, I was thinking E90s and I think X3s as well. I'm in E90s so often I confused them with E46s.

American Cars Only Go Fast In Straight Lines. You Cant Compare Them With BMWs Around Corners.

And Even Though To You I Might Sound Stupid. I Think BMWs Are The Best Cars Made That Give You What You Want For A Good Price. And The Females Get Wet By Looking At Them.

The 335i Has Been Named Engine Of The Year 4 Times In A Row. I Dont Think Im That Stupid.

I hate to beat a dead horse, and I'll almost always go euro before domestic but... As a former salesman for chevrolet, I've driven a few Corvette Zo6's (c6) and I've only had the opportunity to drive 2 cars that handled better. No bmw, porsche, {ferrari, lambo(i've driven one of each on a track)} has handled better. The only 2 that did were the lotus and an ariel atom(I get happy just thinking about that thing).

Domestics are not limited to straight lines, we're just instant gratification kind of people, long curvy races that can't be seen from the stands don't hold our attention spans well enough. And let's face it, the E30 as it came from the factory(other than the M3) was little more than a grocery getter. It simply proved to lend itself well to modification, allowing us to make more of it than bmw had intended for it to be.

The gxp model looks like a budget g35. Should have gone g8, those look like pretty mean rides. The Australians still know how to make rwd v8s. I can understand the cost factor though. Will be a good daily.

Yeah I kinda of noticed the console was on the cheaper side on the G8 GT V8 I looked at the other day. I will get back to the dealer and look into it more towards the end of the year and see if that is the route I will take.
