does every E30 in the UK have alpinas? ;)

looks awesome, Mtech II and touring are two things we didn't get here (except for the very small # if mtech cabrios).

at $3k, it'd almost be worth it to pay all the import fees..

Nando, your spot on there about the alpina reps....everyone's got em over here, genuine I want some genuine alpina's for the sport 7J fronts and 8J rears, but theyre hard to find, they all seem to be 7J's all round.

How about new? I bought my genuine ones real and they still make them in 7x16 and 8x16. Used they are hard to find because the only cars that got them were the early 3.5s. They wont fit well under the later model cars with proper sized tires.

I had to ditch the fender lip and this is the higher earlier arch. You might have to run small tires in the rear to fit it.

They are a bit lighter than the Hartges too. Ride nicer. Although dont get me wrong the Hartges are nice wheels I just think teh 20 spokes would fit that car better.
        Im now E30less.

I'd be too afraid to find out how much they'd cost new!! The centre caps are something like $120 a piece over here!!

I tried the hartge's on the sport but don't think they looked quite right, but I think alpina's would look good on the sport, I may put my 15" x spokes on the touring. Hmmmm

Over there I would think probably around 1500-1800 for the 8j 7j combo. Here they are up to like 2600 because of the exchange rate but back when it was about even I bought a set at just over $1600.

There is a fully refurbed set for sale on bmw car magazine showroom site, priced pretty well to and new tyres, but I'm a bit short on wonga at the moment as the sport has cracked the head and is currently off the road.

Did I see your car in the readers wive...sorry cars section of pbmw this month??

What you reckon to smoked hellas on the touring then??? Too much black??!!

no shit, they put it in? I'll have to make a trip up to buy it. 8)

I would stick with the clears. The white contrasts well. Although Lindy has a black touring with Alpina Classics, tint, and all smoked lights and the car looks like you would expect to be killed by the guys inside.

Whatever works for you really but I would prefer the clear lights with all red tails.

I know what youre saying lol, proper pimp wagon!!

I've just always wanted some smoked hellas....but won't put them on the sport, it's staying standard.

You didn't know you're car was in pbmw then??!!

Damn... that's easily in the top ten of my favorite E30s here. You're driving one of my dream cars.

                      Too sweet for words!
