    First post, first E30....56k go home

    Hey guys, just picked up an 89 325i 5spd for my daily driver...What do you guys think? Its all stock and I picked it up for 800bucks.....The only mods in mind are suspension and wheels....What do you guys reccomend? It handles like a boat compared to my Z32TT.....








    Daily Driver:
    1987 325i Lach Silver/Cardinal Red 5spd (Daily)
    1991 318i Sedan Alpine White SOLD
    1989 325i coupe 5spd - SOLD


    Weekend:
    1990 Z32TT Built 550rwhp

            do suspension first. this car with a proper setup should make your z32 feel like the boat.

                  Clean DD, seriously though.. That car has so much potential. And with just a few bucks it would look outstanding.

                      dude, 800 bucks? thats a great price.

                      just get a decent set of springs and struts/shocks and you'll be happy with it.

                      while your in there you should do your control arms and tie rods. + camber plates up front if you want the car to handle that much better.

                              Love the color, and love the steering wheel.

                              Good starting platform and for 800 bucks you can't go wrong.

                              Put some money into suspension and even though the Z has a lot more power, I doubt it could keep up on an auto x course.

                              As far as suspension goes, everyone will sway towards either Ireland engineering stage III springs combod with billstein sports or H&R race springs paired with billstein sports. If you are looking for something different, coilovers are always an option.
