Thanks for the replies....Yes, it handles like a boat, but im used to my Z32 on coilovers and full suspension.....This car is gonna be my daily driver, i just want to lower it and make it handle better without sacrificing too much comfort, the Z already is stiff enough.....

I was looking at this kyb shocks/vogtland springs setup on ebay for $265, has any one ran that????? Since my fronts are blown, i thought this would be a good cheap first mod!

PS: I have always loved the E30, never meant to offend anyone with the "boat" like handling.....

I think KYBs are garbage. They are too soft. vogtland spring i dont know about, I've always been curious about. I recommend Bilsteins sports.

I have almost 50,000 miles on my KYBs.

They are more comfortable than soft.

              great score for $800, man.

800 bucks for that? You have got to be kidding? Well done sir. Is there any glaring issues?

Coilovers would be best but if your not wanting to spend lots of $$$$. I have H&R Race Springs and Bilstein sport shocks and love the handling. I've pushed my car to the absolute edge and never felt like I was out of control.

Looks like a good platform to start with.

Sell me your steering wheel if you plan to part with it. Seriously.

the fact that the set-up costs 265 bucks should show that it is garbage. go to turnermotorsport.com for a combination of bilstien sport shocks and H&R sport springs for about $600. it won't corner as well as your Z simply because they aren't coilovers, but the imporvement over stock will be immense and you will have no less ride quality.

Those are almost as expensive as my Ground Control Coilovers were! If your not going to track it I wouldn't even really worry about getting that great of a suspension, that one that drops it some and stiffens it up just a bit.

Kyb is a reputable company....And springs are really just springs when you look at it...For the extra 300 bucks i would spend on the more expensive suspension, i could spend for maintenence....I plan on giving it a tune up tommorow and might need to replace the fan clutch....

But i do get what your saying about the quality, i just plan to daily this car until i get out of college.....Remember, im not made of cash.
