    Req: 15'' and Lowered

I was thinking out switching to 15s from 16s and lowering my car, not sure how much I would want, but I wouldnt want an extremely harsh ride or to have to worry about speedbumps. I was wondering if anyone has 15s and has lowered their car, I also have side skirts. Can someone post pics and what is everyones opinions on how far theyve lowered their car and how the ride changed ..

    thanks
    Nick

My wheels are 15s. Suspension is an H&R Cup Kit. Search for my name in members ride and you'll find some picture threads I've made.

How much are my wheels and tires worth? The Sumitomos have about 5 thousand miles on them at the most.

switching to 15" wheels won't make any difference in your ride height unless you're using tires that have a different diameter from factory specs.

but it will change the ride quality, IE feel less bumps and rattles b/c of the larger tire height, but not all that much from a 16 to a 15...

I recently went from a cheap 185/60/14 on bottlecaps to 205/50/16 cheap tires, but z rated on rice wheels with spacers. Understand my car has 230,000 on original shocks and struts, so is a bouncy uncontrolled ride. ANYWAY, the point is that the car feels more stable, the ride is actually smoother. All in all I would say you won't be sacrificing too much ride quality on 16".
Sure wish I had my struts and shocks to get my damn suspension done! It just tears me up to have my springs sitting in a box under my bench!

The 15's on your car look great now, if you buy new ones, LMK how much you'd like for them.
