I think it's a 92, if the stamps on the heads indicate the year.

Stock M60, only modifications to engine are K&N panel filter, bigger exhaust than stock without catalysators, lightened flywheel (original S62 flywheel 18kg, new one ~8kg. I'm using S62 flywheel as an example because i've E39 M5 gearbox), upgraded clutch (E34 M5 Sachs racing pressure plate, S62 original clutch plate) and i might add a chip to ECU / flash it but that has to be tried on dyno in the summer.

Other modifications are beforementioned S6S 420G gearbox, bigger brakes (E34 540 calipers and master cylinder, 312/32mm front discs, 294/19mm rear discs) and Z3M diff cover. Of course almost everything had to be changed in the engine bay but no major improvements technically there.

Lots of stuff need still to be done but i've couple of months time still :)

You've hit everything on my checklist, lol. I've been debating about going with the E30 M3 master cylinder or the E32 750i master cylinder in my car (running stock power,) but I heard that the latter makes threshold braking more difficult. Any reason you went with the E34 540i MC or was it just on the car that the motor came out of?

I look forward to watching this car evolve.

Dunno about E30 M3 or 750 MC (though the latter is much bigger and lots of germans are using it with 312 / 294 brake combo).
The reason i'm using 540 booster and MC (530 and E36 M3 have also the same MC) is simply the fact that i've E34 540 brake calipers so the brake balance should be quite good and i got the parts for free. :)
