I'm fairly certain the 16" XXR's weigh in about 15-16lbs/wheel
can't go wrong for the cost of those wheels

It'll look super nice when you dump it;)

    did you use hubcentric rings?

But its not like if this is your street/occasional auto-x/HPDE car its going to matter or you could tell anyway.

My 17 x 8 Works with taller lower profile tires probably weigh 7-9lbs more a corner. Can't tell a difference on the street, except turn-in is a hair sharper because there is less sidewall now.

I can tell a big difference between my track wheels/tires and street wheels/tires, and it's probably only a ~5 lb difference (mostly in the tires). it doesn't matter on the street of course (that's why I have track wheels), but 7-9lbs is a pretty big difference. Not that I wouldn't mind a set of 17x8 works for the street. :p

Yeah, that's why I said for the street and occasional guys. I originally bought the Works as an STX wheel to run 235/40s on, but decided I'm going to do to my car what I wish instead of building it for a particular class, as the E30 isn't really going to be competitive past a local/regional level anyway, and I just want to have fun, not win. So I'm just going to stick with 215/40s on the Works and space them out abit.

I plan on buying another set of wheels for track wheels, hopefully next year, in 15/16 x 8and running a 225/50 or 225/45 or similar sized tire for HPDEs.

Even on the street there's a huge difference between my 16 lb BBS daily wheels and my 11 lb fun wheels.
