If you didn't live on the other side of the country, i could get my buddy to help you out with the tuning.

Try to find some time to get it tuned, i'm sure you'll be much more satisfied with the car once is running in tip top shape. :-D

But of course it needs to run first lol. ;)

Its not the tuning part im having a hard time with (yet) Its only running on 4 cylinders with MS. Idk, i'm sourcing some much needed help. My buddy knows whats up with standalone systems and hes very willing to lend a hand. I just dont like asking for help cause i bet its something really stupid that i'm overlooking. Oh well, its been far too long getting MS running so i asked for a hand.

ANd i agree its gonna be so sexy running well and correctly. I cant wait to sell that POS fmu.

Hamden isnt very far. Where you go to school?

what version of MS? are you using the stock coil or wasted spark?

that's the thing about standalone - sooo many variables and you are responsible for making them all correct.

Nice, always thought 3mm would be enough for 16x9s but never actually tried it (or heard of someone who did). It must be paper-thin to the strut.

                How was mounting the 615s?

Hahaha thanks Ben! Lemme know if anythings coming up.

Yeah theyre mountable with no spacers but its like 0.5mm clearance. The kid i bought em from had crimp on weights and they didnt clear the struts...

I dont know about mounting the tires, i didnt do it. The guy who did em didnt have anything bad to say about em.

Im trying to use MS1v3.0 with my stock coils in wasted spark. Im having a tough time with it though. Im almost ready to get a vanos motor and have someone tune it for me.

Thanks for the good words guys!

OK granted I realize you live in the forest and can't drive a lowered vehicle, those tires are HUGEEEE. A little more rake would help out a lot with the fitment.

Lol, they arent that big... What are you running? And i scrape coming out of my drive way with these ones! With the 215/40's i scraped in my driveway...

I guess i need to rethink my exhaust set up. Maybe if i get rid of that heat shield i can coax it up another inch or something...

And ill eventually get GC camber plates which should drop the front a little bit. Im already running no front spring pads and all stock rear pads.

Lol ok maybe there aren't HUGGEEE, but still look kinda bubaganoosh like... I'm running 205/45/16. A little more stretch and a little less sidewall. I personally love the size. A 215/40 is MUCH too small for an E30 unless you're literally one the ground.

lol agreed. I kinda needed the extra width too. Im sure the 215's wont last very long either. When its not humid out 1st gear is interesting and second will squeal the tires and this is on 5 psi and untuned... It should be interesting when im making 2-3x the boost and its tuned properly.

Just noticed the difference between my driver side fitment, and the passenger side. My passenger side definitely sits 3-4mm further in. I want to figure the fitment out perfect before the Brocks and the turbo flares go on.
