Darkwing6 is correct. They are Ireland Engineering Stage 3 Springs. They were $295.

I've never really heard it to be dangerous... just its still gonna be a softer ride with more body roll and if you're lower to the ground that could cause trouble...

other than that I haven't heard anything else.

okay, would these be a good buy? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Parts...=p4506.c0.m245 I am new to e30s btw and if i get that kit on ebay do I need anything else to it? How much does the auto shop charges for springs installation or its easy to install them my self?

Wow that drop came out really nice. DId you post the picture in the suspension thread that shows the suspension set up and a side-shot of the car?

Regarding cuttign springs: cutting progressive springs i would not do. i think it would affect the spring performance, especially with the dampers designed to work with them. cutting non-progressive springs could probably be gotten away with.

either way, cutting springs should be done by an engineer with the ability to test the springs and what dampers they are being designed/modified to work with. its like cutting a length of lumber withou measuring and hoping it spans the length you need.

Yeah PO on the rims bought 225/50/r16s..

Im having some problems with rubbing on the inside of the wheel well and so I'm waiting to get some extra dough to get 45 or 40's.. What do you think would look better?

                            Thanks!
