Those wheels are pretty hawt IMHO, they just need a 1 inch wider lip on the outside to better square up the sidewalls of those 225's. That or move down to a 205 but I'd rather run the 225's and wider lips.

I was a bonehead and didn't seal up the face & barrels of the wheels and then drove it for a couple of weeks in the Winter. I got salt all over them and neglected to clean them off right away and now the face & barrel have been pitted.

I tried to clean off the oxidation but the damage has been done.

So I dismounted the tires, cut the seals and separated the wheels. Now off I go to my friends place to borrow his polishing equipment.

Oh, maybe you could get new centers for those barrels. I would love it.

Maybe I'll keep these centers just so you don't.

You wanted to see what they look like with the new centercaps on.

Now I just have to repolish the wheels to match.

^^^ In that picture, I think they could grow on me with painted centers, polished, deeper lips, and chrome bolts.

Maybe I'll just start loving the centers you have so you change them.

LOL! Well I wanted deeper lips too but they are a non standard bolt opening count so I'd have to get custom ones from Kodiak and that is just not something I plan to do right now. Maybe once I burn through this set of Summer tires I'll look at doing it then.

You would need their camber plates as well to get that stance.

                        SWEET!

Can't wait to see your ride on the coils.

Which shock did you end up going with? Koni or Bilstein?

Koni, and I went with some softer springs to start with. I could always get some stiffer ones if they are too soft...

No, the wheels really don't go with the "style" of the car. They look like they belong on a bagged b2200 with 4link. Mainly it's the chromeyness, making them look like a set of Eagle Alloy's.
