WORDS FOR YOU YOUNG GUYS SELLING YOUR CARS:
Don't.
So many of us "over 40" guys had cars we loved in our youths that are now rare and/or valuable. We sold them, because it was time to "grow up" or whatever.
We ALL regret it.
Keep you car, work harder, get a second job if needed, get a DD.
Keep your car.

I follow Luke's sentiment. I'm torn between 2 '97 E36 M3's (US Specs) here locally but can't let my baby go because it took me 13 years to get my hands again on the E30 I have now. Both M3's are very well maintained and one is already street/track prepped while the other one has tasteful mods that make it look simple yet eyecatching. I could take the easy road but when you are attached to something you worked hard on and continue improving on it it's hard to let go.WORDS FOR YOU YOUNG GUYS SELLING YOUR CARS:

Coming from a guy that recently bought an E46 Touring to daily and parked the E30 for quite some time without driving it....DON'T SELL IT. The E46 is an awesome daily and I love the car, but I get so much joy from driving the E30 now that it is not a daily. I loved my E30 a both times, but I got really tired of the pot holes and parts breaking, etc. Now it is just fun. I grab the car on a weekend or hop in for a fun drive to work. You will regret not having the E30 for a joy ride or two. Your car is hawt! Fix it and buy a daily that is stock.sigpicComment

he sounds like he wants a dd. i know i did. thats why i have a subaru now but i still have my e30 i just dont drive it that much.Comment

The best thing you could ever to for the e30 is to buy that e34. Never loved my mk2 GTI as much as i did when i bought my mk4 GTI. The pure connection you get with modded older cars is un obtainable with newer cars. You just get kind of numb to the feeling when your driving it every day. Yes modded cars suck as DDs.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
